Our next adventure- the southern carribean!

I’m thrilled to share that our next adventure on Rumaway is officially set! In early January, we’ll depart the BVIs for a 3–4 day, 450-mile sail down to Grenada, with two great friends, Juan Carlos and Fred, joining me for the delivery.

Once we arrive, Sue will join me along with more friends for the first two weeks as we start making our way north through the islands. Our tentative route includes:

• Grenada

• St. Vincent & the Grenadines

• St. Lucia

• Martinique

• Dominica

• Guadeloupe

• Antigua

• St. Kitts

• St. Barts

• Saint-Martin

From Saint-Martin, we’ll head back to the BVIs where Rumaway will return to charter for the rest of the season.

We are making some upgrades to Rumaway this winter including 1200 Amp Hours of Lithium batteries and bigger inverters. This will allow us a lot more flexibility when it comes to running the many electronic devices we have on the boat.

We can’t wait to explore these islands and get a real feel for the southern Caribbean. I hope you’ll follow along as our journey begins in January!
